We started Athweets to build a single destination where fans could interact with their favorite athletes. We're leveraging the awesome Twitter platform to grow a community that is passionate about sports.

Our team includes folks who have worked at leading Internet companies like Google and Yahoo!. Adam and Sumir founded Athweets because they couldn't keep track of the growing number of their favorite athletes who were using Twitter to interact with fans. Adam, a Texas native, boasts a fan-ship of the Cowboys and the Spurs. Sumir grew up in the Detroit area and loves the Red Wings, Pistons, Tigers, and yes, even the Lions.
